TOO STIFF AND NARROW

GOT MY SHOES TODAY THEY LOOKED GOOD .THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE THEM FOR A SHORT 5 MILE RUN..PUTTING THEM ON THEY DID NOT HAVE A LOT OF ROOM IN THE TOE BOX .FELT STIFF, AND TIGHT SO I PUT A THIN SOCK ON ,STARTED THE RUN AFTER FIRST MILE FOUND THE TOE AREA MADE MY FEET VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND FEELING SQUASHED .(BOUGHT THESE A HALF SIZE BIGGER ) THE FEED BACK OFF THE SHOE WAS OK ,BUT THEN THE BALL OF MY FOOT BECAME SOAR .I THINK IF THERE WAS MORE ROOM IN THE TOE BOX AREA THESE WOULD BE A WINNER .I WILL USE THEM AS A GENERAL TRAINER BUT DEFENITLY NOT AS A SERIOUS RUNNING SHOE ,AND ARE THAT LITTLE BIT HEAVY ,BEEN RUNNING FOR 5 YEARS ,THE SHOE HAS POTENTIAL BUT NOT QUITE THERE FOR ME

Feels lighter than they look, new favorite

I enjoy running in these shoes. I ordered the sonic, machina, and infinite during the covid lockdown, and I'm keeping these. I may also keep the sonics. I don't know what it is about these shoes, they feel much lighter than they are, they seem to have a much more natural forward drive than any shoe I've worn in the past, and my first run in them was 7 miles and I had no hot spots. Obviously this is totally subjective. Objectively, the shoes pair easily to my galaxy watch active 2, and the data is nice to help improve my form.

These shoes damaged my feet badly

I have been running for years and recently decided to try this model out because a friend had recommended to the MapMyRun feature. I decided to give them a go and had a short jog around my local park, the app feature was cool and interesting. However, the design of the shoes were terrible. The instep part of the sole is raised far too high and causes serious pressure on the instep arch of my feet. Needless to say after 20 minutes of light jogging, both of my feet were blistered and in pain. This isn't a case of shoes needing breaking in, the design was poor and what was worst was UA's treatment of their customers. I emailed straight back asking to return these shoes and I got a cold resounding no, being told that the fact that the shoes caused blisters and discomfort did not mean they could be returned, despite the fact that the return policy says that you can return items within 30 days if not 100% satisfied - clearly a lie.....

Under Armor now makes legit running shoes.

The feedback from being coached and the data that is kept on mapmyrun is top notch so I'll start with that as the best thing about the shoe. It keeps track of steps and mileage so you know exactly how far the shoe has been. I don't know that the stride length is completely accurate, it seems like it is a little over estimated and most runs the distance as a whole is a little over estimated. The other good thing about the shoe is the energy return that I get. I think UA did a good job engineering the shoe to give a lot of energy back and keep the legs feeling decent during runs. Now the bad, the shoes are very stiff, perhaps that helps the performance but comfort is definitely sacrificed here. I went true to size but the front of the shoe is not overly roomy. If you have the chance to try them on, I would. I ordered mine so it was a bit of a guess. The padding in the heel is stiff as well, but doesn't create hot spots. I like the look of the shoe, would be nicer if it was a little lighter though. This shoe is a daily trainer, built for miles, but does have some nice energy return. Room left for improvement but much better than what I expected from UA.

Good stability and cushion

Great for walking and general wear. Very happy with the quality and looks of the shoe.

Comfort walking clunky running

Out of the box these shoes are comfortable with a good fit/feel I have put around 25 kilometers on them so far and feel as though they are just going to be trainers not racers- they are a bit on the heavy side and tend to feel like a dress shoe with softness for running - I recently purchased a pair of velocity2 and they far exceeded my expectations for comfort/light weight runners I feel they would be great for 10-15k races I am 5’11” 195

Comfort

The quality is good overall. However, I think the left shoe has a defect in the area of the toe. The inner sole has a bump or thicker sole. Creates a tighter fit around the toes. The right shoe is okay. I think it is a quality control issue for the left shoe.

Great for running.

Comfortable and supportive. Exact fit. Easy to sync with app.

Very uncomfortable

The left shoe was more comfortable than the right. Right shoe hurts the top of my foot. Appears the tongue of the shoe is very hard where it attaches to the shoe. I'm trying to wear them and break them in. So far, it's painful. I love UA shoes and it's all I wear but I'm disappointed in this shoe.

Fantastic Shoe

I've never worn much of UA shoes before so I decided to give these a shot and I'm glad I took the leap with them. Right out of the box the color was right on. (I got the white/ blue/ beta color). First wear around the house they were a bit stiff, but I got to put my first 5 miles on them over rocks, concrete, and trails. The break in period was little to no time at all. The cushion was absolutely amazing and the bounce response was crazy accurate. I had it connected to the run app and it was really awesome to see all the stats just from that one walk I did. These shoes will definitely be used for a long time!
