I bought these shoes for my boyfriend and he loved them so much! He says they are very comfortable and he uses them every day to the gym!
These shoes exceeded all my expectations. I have a narrow, hard-to-fit foot. The fit was perfect, with plenty of support and comfort.Top quality construction. I confess that these are my first UA trainers. That said, I'm going exclusively with Under Armour for all my gear. Cheers!
The description given to these shoes made them sound like they were going to be another great pair of stout, hard working, shoes made for the hard core cross training . My expectations is that they would be at least comparable to my pair of Men's UA HOVR™ Apex 2 Training Shoes. They are not even close. These shoes are very flimsy in construction, lack in stability, and the stretch fabric at the top of the shoe wore out and stretched out after just a few training sessions. These shoes are adequate for walking on a tread mill or stair climber but not for any lateral movement or elevated training work outs. I am not recommending this product for my co athletes or my players.
I loved these shoes when they first arrived. And the only shoes that tore up around the TOE area within months of ownership .
I see other users complaining the same thing, so it wasn't something that I did while wearing the shoes.
Bought these for my husband, he didn’t really wear them because “he didn’t want them to get ruined”. I told him to start using them more often, I spent enough money to have them sitting in the closet. Unfortunately he did start using them more often, within a week they ripped by the toes. Poo quality, you’d think as expensive as they they they last. Nope that’s not the case!!!
I just bought the PR 2 even though the 3s just dropped. I have used them for 3 workouts now. They have held up, fit really nice, good stability on heavy lifts which I was surprised of. Granted it’s been 3 workouts so time will tell on durability. I burn through shoes and buy a new pair every 2 or 3 months for working out in. In my opinion these are good shoes and really comfortable I would recommend for for hard gym use or average lifting days. Also comfortable enough to wear for walking around in etc. I did buy half size bigger and they feel great.
I am not sure what these individuals are doing with their shoes who left the poor reviews on quality as I have owned three pairs now and never have had a single tear or issue with them. I own a fitness equipment manufacturing company and we train daily in our in-house gym and I wear them to work in frequently. Never an issue. I still have my first pair when these came out that I use as my dirty shoes in the warehouse. These shoes are EXCELLENT! I am sure there are occasional bad apples in a bunch, that is expected in high volume manufacturing, but don't let that deter you as you will love training in these. I actually wear them without the laces. Such a great fit.
second effort at submitting a review, the first one was rejected because i was critical....
I don’t write reviews, but I thought I needed to for this shoe. I bought in a 13 because I had the PR1’s (size 12) and heard that the PR2’s run smaller than the 1’s. got the 13’s and they were too roomy in the toes, my feet kept sliding in the shoe. So I returned the shoe and got a 12.5 figure that it should be good, but no! They felt at least a whole size smaller! I’m not mad at UA , just upset that I can’t find decent training shoes that fit correct. They do run a bit narrow too! I’m going to try the PR3’s.
