I like this gloves and wanted to love them but the truth is that it is hard to do when the product falls apart with only 3 uses. I got these as a Christmas present and By the third time the sides were busting out. The glove itself is comfortable and I live the strap. its a bit bulky but I feel it better protect the wrist and I like the feel. The glove on the there hand seems thin and sometimes my hand hurt when doing certain workout. maybe a little bit more padding would do the trick.
I use training gloves for years and was thrilled when I saw Project Rock developed ones. But I am disappointed by poor protection they provide for palms. Leather is very soft and fit very well but my hands hurt after workout (especially pulling exercises) and protection is the main feature I look for in using gloves. I am a big fan and I have (too) many things from project Rock but this is real disappointment for me.
First, the glove runs tight like the other reviews suggested, definitely go at least a size up. I usually wear L, so I brought an XL. Overall, the glove is average at best. The material is not great. The padding on the hand is extremely thin, doesn't really provide much protection layer against the weights. The strap is the only thing that I would say was designed well and can hold up on high intensity workouts. In fact, my glove is now showing signs of rips only after 2 workouts. I would say this glove is best suited for "average" workouts, but if you are going to be wearing it for higher intensity or higher weight workouts, this glove will not hold up. Very disappointed in the quality of an $40 glove.
Fits good but not comfortable lifting weights . Hurts the fingers .
I am a fan of the Project Rock line and I have been happy with the PR 1 & 2 shoes. I also love the shirt designs and how they fit for a guy my size. However, the training gloves were a bit of a let down because I expected the same quality as I experienced with the shoes and shirts.
I ordered XXL gloves, but when I was able to try them on, they were a bit tight. The wrist wrap seems a bit short and once it's wrapped it is stiff. These gloves do feel lighter than my Gold's Gym gloves and that's probably due to the upper material feeling elastic. I can tell from not only the look, but the leather on the palms are thinner than my old gloves. After working out for a week in them I still notice my palms feeling raw and there are deep lines from the seams of the stitching.
I will give these glove more time to break in. I assume that may be the case, and I will try to update this review. Again, I love these products for training but these gloves fell a bit short on the High Bar that was already set by this brand.
Great fitting gloves and very comfortable, but after a month, they started falling apart like a Texas Brisket.
The gloves are great, fits and feels comfy, only draw back finger tips to soft
