Look Nice But Do Not Last

I had these shoes approved to wear out and about on crime scenes. I was hoping that with the name they'd prove to last. I was wrong. The seam where the toe meets with the fabric close to the laces has come undone within 5-6 months of 4 days a week use and there's a nice gap in-between. I've had cheaper shoes hold up longer with the soles giving out faster. I am not happy with these shoes and I cannot understand how so many have been manufactured. Epic fail.

Quality

The boots were great for a few short months and then they fell apart. The logo on sides started to detach, the tongue of boot barely stayed in place and the shoe laces stripped and broke. They were still usable but not worth the money for a 3-4 month boot in law enforcement. Other brands I have used last over a year or close to 2. Decided to try UA as I wear their clothes daily but they are not ready for the tactical setting with this particular boot. I tried to purchase shoe laces that would work but they appear to thick for the holes of these boots.

Get something else

I was a big fan of the Valsetz 2.0 and had high expectations about the Valsetz 1.5 Waterproof. I read the bad reviews before purchasing but decided to give these a try anyway as I really loved the 2.0 and needed a waterproof duty boot for winter. Unfortunately, these didn't stand up to my expectations. Boots are very comfortable but I would get my feet wet all the time just from getting in and out of the car in the snow (not waterproof at all). After only 4 months of use, both boots are starting to wear through near the toes where the sole flex (see picture). Very disappointed.

Really really comfortable, BUT summer use only, and they will fall apart, good for 'civies' will not stand up to anything tactical AT ALL

The fir of the boot is fine, I am a 10 UK and it is excellent. However, they do not last, I have had three pairs, but I understood from the off that they were weak. They fall apart, they are not waterproof. But comfortable, super comfy. As a tactical boot , forget it!

Comfortable but durability not the greatest.

I had these for about 4 months and love them, however they are falling apart. Toe coming apart, cap separating, just not good. Still very comfortable and I wear them, but visually they appear to be years old. Not happy at all for the price you pay.

Junk

I have had 3 pair of the valsetz. They all have failed around a year in the same way. The glue gives on the sole. I have taken back each time to the outlet store and they only gave me a partial credit towards another pair. They are extremely comfortable. But I am not going to continue to buy these. UA knew they have a problem and continue to produce them anyway. What does that say about their feeling toward their customer base ? I say don't buy any of their shoes until they fix the problem.

Fall apart in no time

I've probably gone through 8-10 pair of these boots over the years. None last longer than 10 months (give or take). I'm sure you ask, "then why in the world do you keep paying that much for a boot that doesn't hold up?!?" The answer is simple. These are the most comfortable, most lightweight side zip boot I've ever worn. You put them on, stand up, walk, and it's like, "ahhhhh......" And then they start to fall apart. I do my best to get as much wear out of them before buying a new pair. And I'm getting ready to order another set now (which is how I came across the reviews and decided to add mine). I'm in law enforcement, work patrol, and wear them 5 days a week for 8 hours a day.

Already Falling Apart

Just got these boots two weeks ago and the sides are already coming apart. This is the second pair that this has happened.

No good

These boots were so comfortable when I first got them about 9 months ago. I didn't even wear them for 3 months at work due to a surgery. But they did not hold up at all. Now they are all to pieces.
