Use a flexible measuring tape to measure from the bridge of the nose, across the cheekbone, and then right past the ear canal. Find the closest measurement in Table A.
Everyone’s face is a little different, so check out the Mask dimensions (Table B) to make sure you know what the ultimate height and width are.
It’s light, soft-but-structured fabric stays off your mouth and wicks sweat but still allows air to flow through.
The fit is secure-but-not-tight, with a soft, adjustable nose bridge, and a strip of baselayer fabric for a snug fit under the glasses.
The inside fabric uses UA Iso-Chill technology next to skin to disperse heat, so it actually feels cool when you put it on.
It’s fully washable, durable, and then ready to wear over and over—making it more environmentally friendly than disposable masks or filters.
Faulty advertisement of sizing from the company. No compensation whatsoever on an expensive mask that cannot be worn safely. This is wrong on Under Armour's part to not offer any solution for their mistake. Very disappointed.
The Good- I bought two of the masks, one for my wife and I each. The mask itself is well made, and I feel I can actually breathe in it. When I breathe in, if I am in an air conditioned area, I can feel cool air coming in, which is wonderful, and makes it much more bearable to wear for long periods of time. We live in Houston, so hot masks are torture with the humidity and temperature in the summer.
The Bad- The ear loops are made from a single piece of flimsy material, that frays along the edges, and stretches to the point it feels like it could easily tear if caught on something. I am worried that the ear fabric will be the weakest link and will be the first part to fail. For the price we paid for these masks, they need to last much longer than they currently are.
My wife and I also both agree that it was a little too large for our faces from the guide that we bought them using.
TL:DR - Great mask, comfortable to wear, but ear fabric needs to be reinforced somehow, while keeping the same comfort level, and the "Fit" chart needs to be looked at again. I would recommend this to a friend if the ear material was made sturdier.
Makes your ears stick out.
Says it doesnt fog glasses but it still does!! The only reason we were paying this price was because we wear glasses.. this was ridiculous! The only pro is the look of the mask compared to ugly green medical masks
This is a terrible mask, and I am very disappointed in it considering how much it costs. I was looking forward to it and had been waiting for it close 1.5 months. I go to the gym daily and was looking for something comfortable and breathable. It is extremely thick and gets very hot after a while. The sweat will build up forcing you to take it off after a while, too. The ear hooks are very flimsy with no adjustable features since the fit is larger than advertised. I would go one size lower if you choose to purchase this product. The design of the mask overall is extremely bulky and looks weird when you put it on. I was expecting something light and sleek. Turned out to be bulky, heavy, and cumbersome. This is NOT a mask for athletes and it will impede your exercise. The material itself is comfortable.
I love this mask! While no one really wants to wear one, this mask is as comfortable as it gets. I’m required to wear one most of the day. The UA mask sits off the face so that you don’t get that suffocating feeling cloth and paper masks can have. It’s a little pricey, but worth it for the comfort. We’ll probably be wearing masks for awhile so might as well wear one you like! Do measure your face though. I guessed and mine was a little big.
Was very excited to receive my mask. Unfortunately there weren't any reviews when I made my pre-order. When I received my mask the first fitting was ok (I used their sizing/measuring chart to choose the correct size). After wearing it two times it seemed to lose its ability to stay put and got looser with every wear. The support on the bridge of the nose is not strong enough to help hold the mask in place and make a proper seal, seems a little flimsy. No ear pegs for adjustability for a better fit & seal. I live in the desert and it gets quite hot so the idea of this mask having iso-cool material was a definite pro. Well, not so much for me. It's very stuffy, sweaty & hot no matter how long I wear it or where I am wearing (inside or outside). I have other masks that don't make me feel so sweaty & stuffy in the face. So those were the cons.
Pros: style, mostly solid structure to keep off of your mouth & nose once fit is adjusted.
After wearing this mask for about a week I had to alter the mask for it to fit better. I added more support to the bridge of the nose for more support & a better seal and I also added some ear pegs so I can adjust my fit. Seems to have done the trick for now.
It would be great if Under Armour would take all of the suggestions by other customers to heart and design a better product for the amount of money they are charging for one mask.
I ordered 2 masks in late June and received them last week. I ordered the S/M and they're a little too snug for my teenage boys. The size chart that was added is way more helpful than the guide that was online when I ordered. I feel like they'll both be outgrown in a month and there goes 60 bucks. As far as the performance- both kids said they were soft and comfortable. One wore it during basketball practice and he said the mask did not absorb much sweat at all. Will continue to try and get used to them but would hate for him to develop mascne from trapped moisture. Kinda wishing I had waited for reviews before ordering.
Top !!! Ils peuvent rendre le masque obligatoire en salle pour la pratique du badminton, avec ce masque aucuns problèmes. UA le top comme d'hab.
I ordered these two months ago, got them today. The size is okay, but the seal around the whole mask has gaps on both my wife and myself. The elastic-type material, that should make the seal, is very flimsy. The metal piece itself that runs over the bridge of ones nose is no bigger than a bread wrapper. To top that off, it fogs up my glasses with every exhale.
Stupid me, I ordered three of these. The writeup spelled a different story.
After waiting for weeks after ordering it, I finally was able to give it a test go today. Playing soccer in 80F+ weather, this mask because:
1. Gets extremely wet
2. Hard to breath for the type of sport I'm engaged in.
3. The area on the nose bridge doesn't seem secure
4. No option to tighten (its relatively expensive - you'd expect that they would think of something to help with that)
I've used cloth masks before and this performs the same as those so IMHO, its definitely not worth the premium price.
Bonus for 'looking good'.
